Welcome to the Limestone Jolly Boat

This site will never float

A chocolate teapot is pointless, since the moment you pour in hot tea, it simply melts. A jolly boat made of limestone would be just as impractical — though you’re welcome to test that theory yourself.

This site exists mainly as a place for me to stash various odds and ends, including HTML and CSS snippets. The River Loddon depth at Dinton Pastures might actually be useful to a few people, though.

Some observations on the footpath along the River Loddon as it passes Dinton Pastures. Mostly relating to whether the path is flooded or passable.

These are based on our usual walking route, where we follow the river only from the Bridge over the Loddon in Dinton Pastures, travelling towards the Showcase Cinema / A329M and Railway bridges.
